My Magic

I have been fascinated with magic since childhood.  I got my first magic kit when I was about 10 and I did (poorly) most of the included tricks.  I got my first real trick when I was 15 and went to Las Vegas for a high school band trip.  I was hooked.  For half my life I have been collecting magic.  I started with trick decks and gaffed coins and have been progressively moving on.  This page is a listing of what I have in my magic collection.

Gypsy's Curse

Seven ancient playing card replicas are shown. Six of them are black spot cards and the last a King of Diamonds.As the performer relates the following story he carries out the actions of the swindler. He tells of how the original proprietor of this game would divide the seven cards into two groups and ask the spectators to wager as to which group contains the Diamond card. An elderly Gypsy woman, having wagered and lost, placed a curse upon the man and his game. From that day on, whenever the man tried to operate his game, he finds to his dismay that all the cards are winners and the performer fans them out to show all normal backs and King of Diamond faces! An amazing effect with an enchanting story.Comes complete with all the necessary cards and detailed instructions.

My comment: This is similar to the Wild Card trick with a better hook but more complex sleights.
