My Magic

I have been fascinated with magic since childhood.  I got my first magic kit when I was about 10 and I did (poorly) most of the included tricks.  I got my first real trick when I was 15 and went to Las Vegas for a high school band trip.  I was hooked.  For half my life I have been collecting magic.  I started with trick decks and gaffed coins and have been progressively moving on.  This page is a listing of what I have in my magic collection.

Split Deck

The magician shows a deck that has been cut in half diagonally. The cards for both halves are fanned face up to show they are mixed then turned back face down. A spectator then each select one card from the first half of the deck, and a second spectator selects a card from the second half of the deck. Amazingly, when the selected halves are put together and turned face up they match to form a complete card! A baffling effect!

My comment: The perfect trick to do for a couple!
