My Magic

I have been fascinated with magic since childhood.  I got my first magic kit when I was about 10 and I did (poorly) most of the included tricks.  I got my first real trick when I was 15 and went to Las Vegas for a high school band trip.  I was hooked.  For half my life I have been collecting magic.  I started with trick decks and gaffed coins and have been progressively moving on.  This page is a listing of what I have in my magic collection.

Cheek to Cheek

A pack of cards is shown and separated into two piles. The cards are fanned and shuffled face to face so half the cards are face up, and the other half are face down. The spectator then takes any card that is face up and places it anywhere in the deck face down. The cards are shuffled again and when the deck is spread out on the table, all cards are back face down - with the exception of the face up selected card! There is no skill required to perform this amazing close-up miracle, perfect for both the amateur and the pro!

My comment: A classic of magic. When I saw this trick for the first time, it blew me away. It's not clean, but it's simple and POWERFUL magic.
