My Magic

I have been fascinated with magic since childhood.  I got my first magic kit when I was about 10 and I did (poorly) most of the included tricks.  I got my first real trick when I was 15 and went to Las Vegas for a high school band trip.  I was hooked.  For half my life I have been collecting magic.  I started with trick decks and gaffed coins and have been progressively moving on.  This page is a listing of what I have in my magic collection.

Boris Wild Marked Deck

Al Baker was the first magician to use an alphanumeric system of marking cards. In the 1950's, he transformed portions of the natural back design of Bicycle Angel Back Squeezer cards into letters and numbers indicating the suit and value of each card. In the intervening years, several marking systems hve been devised using letters and numbers, most notably the Ted Lesley Working Performer's Marked Deck. The Boris Wild system, however, trumps them all (no pun intended). Instead of needing two marks per card, Boris' system uses only one...

My comment:
It's killer simple to use, but I prefer the Ultimate marking system.
